Head North for the Tropic Sun

Of course, it's just the beginning of winter in Australia but if cold weather isn't exactly your best time to travel, well, you can always head north to tropical Australia.

You can start on the central Queensland coast and head north to the towns and islands of the Great Barrier Reef.

On the other side of the continent, consider Broome and Cable Beach and the northern regions of Western Australia. And there's the Northern Territory, of course.

And winter is never forever. Soon it'll be spring.
