Take the Scenic Drive from Sydney to Wollongong

Take the Princess Highway south from Sydney and into the Southern Freeway. Take the turnoff on the Southern Freeway to Stanwell Park. Lawrence Hargrave Drive starts at the roundabout at the junction of the Old Princess Highway. Just before Bald Hill, take the right turn down to Stanwell Park and you're on your scenic way to Wollongong.

The third largest city in New South Wales (after Sydney and Newcastle), Wollongong is just about an hour's drive from Sydney.

But you can, of course, take your time at the beaches and picturesque little towns along Lawrence Hargrave Dr.
