Australias First Gold Medal at London Olympics Goes to Womens Relay Team

Australia's first gold at the London 2012 Olympics has gone to the women's swimming 4x100m relay team, comprising Alicia Coutts, Cate Campbell, Brittany Elmslie and Melanie Schlanger, with a 3:33.15 Olympic record finish. Coming in second was the Netherlands with the United States third.
